How to Turn Closed Captions On and Off on NLS TV

Closed captions (CC) can enhance your viewing experience by displaying text on the screen for dialogue and sounds. If you'd like to enable or disable closed captions on NLS TV, follow these simple steps based on the device you are using.


For Web Browsers (Desktop/Laptop):

  1. Open the video you want to watch on NLS TV.
  2. Hover your cursor over the video to reveal the playback controls.
  3. Click on the CC (Closed Captions) button, usually located in the bottom-right corner of the video player.
  4. To turn captions on, select "On" from the options.
  5. To turn captions off, select "Off" from the options.

For Mobile Devices (iOS/Android App):

  1. Launch the NLS TV app and play the desired video.
  2. Tap the screen to bring up the video playback controls.
  3. Look for the CC icon or a Subtitles/Closed Captions option.
  4. To turn captions on, tap the icon or option and select "On".
  5. To turn captions off, tap the icon or option and select "Off".

For Smart TVs (App or Built-in Browser):

  1. Open the NLS TV app or visit the website on your Smart TV.
  2. Play the video you want to watch.
  3. Use your remote to navigate to the playback controls (this is often done by pressing the "OK" or "Enter" button on the remote).
  4. Locate the CC or Subtitles option.
  5. To turn captions on, select "On".
  6. To turn captions off, select "Off".

For Streaming Devices (Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick):

  1. Open the NLS TV app on your streaming device.
  2. Start the video you want to watch.
  3. Press the button on your remote that brings up playback controls (varies by device, often labeled "Options" or "Menu").
  4. Find the Closed Captions or Subtitles setting.
  5. To turn captions on, set it to "On".
  6. To turn captions off, set it to "Off".
